Online NYSC Registration Guidelines For Prospective Corps Member
The registration for NYSC is done online. It can be done anywhere in the world. Some people use mobile phone to do part of the registration. There is nothing like accredited centers.
Before going for the registration, ensure you have all your documents together. This will enable you have a stress free registration process.
It is good to note that registration by single prospective corps member (PCM) who schooled in Nigeria is very straight forward. This is not the case with married female PCM and foreign trained PCM both single and married.

When going to the cafe, go with your recent passport photograph with white background. The cafe guy that did it for me had a digital camera.
Your details will be imputed ranging from your an active email, JAMB registration number, blood group and kits size, matric number, full name, place of birth, date of birth, gender, marital status, genotype, blood group, and signature.
Other details include if you already have a previous call-up, physically challenged, nationality, state of origin, Local Government Area, present contact address, permanent address, town/village.
The next data's needed are two next of kin data which include name and relationship with next of kin, GSM number, address, town, state for both
The institution you attended, time period, award and date of graduation from primary, secondary to tertiary level is demanded.
They will like to know if you belong to the military or paramilitary to be eligible for exemption letter. The following questions you will answer;
>Are you a serving member of Nigerian?:
>Armed Force (NAF, NA, or NAVY) and served for minimum of 9 months?: Yes or No
>Are you a serving member of National Intelligence?: yes or no
>Agency (NIA)? Yes No
>Are you a serving member of Nigerian Police Force (NPF)?: Yes or No.
>Are you a National Awardee?: Yes or No
The rest questions are minor like Nigerian Language(s) you speak, Nigerian State(s) visited. To round it up, you will provide details of your dressing size.

Choose between fresh or old registration. Since this is your first time, choose fresh registration. Supply your email address. Proceed to secret question and answer. Open a new tab and open your email for a confirmation mail from NYSC. The mail will contain a link that will take you back to NYSC portal to continue with the registration. Create a password and continue.
A new page will open for you to input your country. If you choose a school outside Nigeria, you will be taken to another page to upload your credentials.
To complete your registration, you will need to login again. This time, you will have to fill in the form below. If you choose poor health status, you will be needed to upload a doctor's report. During the filling process, immediately you click on female, you will be asked if you are single or not. If you click married, you will be ask to upload more documents such as marriage certificate, certificate showing change of name/affidavit, evidence of utility bill, document showing state of resident of husband and document showing identity of husband. Click on the biometric capturing to capture your finger prints. Upload your signature. Submit the form. All your data's you have imputed will be open in the new page. You can still edit this if you want. Click continue with registration if you are satisfied with the information.
If you are on exemption list, you exemption letter will be mailed to your institution. If you want it online, you can make payment to NYSC. You can do this by generating RRR code on the portal, pay at the bank, wait for NYSC to confirm payment and continue with the registration. You can pay online if you have one of the accepted online channel. But if you are mobilize, you will be taken to a page to choose four states of your choice. Submit and refresh the page. Your green card will be mailed to your institution. However, if you want your green card online, you will have to pay to NYSC to get it. It will take about 3 days to come out.

After uploading them, you will be required to continue to supply more data as described above except JAMB registration number since you did not school in Nigeria. You will upload your passport and signature. Fill in your preferred states and kit size.
Immediately you click on female, you will be asked if you are single or not. If you click married, you will be ask to upload more documents such as marriage certificate, certificate showing change of name/affidavit, evidence of utility bill, document showing state of resident of husband and document showing identity of husband.
You will have to continue with the other registration by imputing more data as required.
Note: all documents should be in jpg or PDF format less that 200Kb. Scanned signature should be less than 7Kb. Don't worry much about that. There are online tools you can use to do it.

You will be requested to upload the following documents; Original WAEC/NECO/SSCE certificate, transcript of degree, original degree certificate, international passport, residence permit, visa showing date of departure from Nigeria, visa showing date of arrival to Nigeria.Read Also: NYSC registration for foreign trained PCM
