Contraceptive Pill To Prevent Pregnancy After 6 Days
In this age, most people are looking for drugs that can prevent pregnancy after many days of unprotected sex. Pregnancy is fertilization of an ovum by a sperm. And it can only happen when a woman have unprotected sex during her ovulation period.

An ovum release can survive for 12-24 hours. However, a sperm can survive up to three days inside a woman.

Any drug design should be able to stop the sperm from fertilizing the ovum or prevent implantation after fertilization. Unfortunately one drug is capable of doing that. It is levonorgestrel.
Levonorgestrel is also called morning after pill. It is taken immediately after unprotected intercourse. It prevents fertilization or implantation of the fertilised ovum.
From research, levonorgestrel can prevent pregnancy after a maximum of 5 days. That is a maximum of 120 hours. However, using it within 72 hours (3 days) gives 85% chance of preventing pregnancy. The longer the hour, the higher the chance of failure.

Drugs To Prevent Pregnancy After 6 Days
Levonorgestrel is effective because it takes about 5-6 days from fertilization to implantation. Since levonorgestrel prevents implantation, it is able to work up to 5 days. Unfortunately, after implantation, levonorgestrel is useless. It can not cause abortion even at high doses.
Is there any drug to take after five days? The short answer is no. Once there is implantation, any other attempt is tilting towards medical abortion.
