Why The Hair Of Most President Of Countries Turn Gray Or White
Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan became the president of Nigeria with black curly hair on his head. But he left office with partially gray or white hair. He was young when he became president. And at the age he left office, most people in his age grade still have black curly hair.
Other presidents or heads of states of Nigeria since the 1990's entered with partial or complete gray or white hair. It was his own that looked that obvious. However, as I watched his hair turn gray or white, so too was his colleague in the United States of America (USA), Barack Obama. I realize that the previous US president entered the office either with black or partially black hair. After spending about 8 years, the one that entered with partially black hair had already turned white or gray completely and the one with black hair had turned partially gray or white.

So many people around the world, especially in the USA , are worried about this phenomenon. So many people in the USA including professors attribute it to stress of being the most powerful man on earth. But others put the blame on genes. Before we go on, there is no confirmed reason. Here are both explanations.
Stress Cause Gray Or White Hair
Stress may cause grey hair. And as you know, the president may work all through the day with little rest. Although, they have the best of healthcare, weather and food. Stress causes a situation called telogen effluvium. Everytime a follicle loses a hair and a new hair grows, the new hair uses pigment called melanin. Once the pigment runs out, the hair turns gray or white.
Gene Cause Gray Or White Hair
The others of the opinion of hereditary still believe each person's gene is responsible for when the hair will turn gray or white. For example, president Barack Obama was asked about this. His response was that his family history shows that they turn gray or white at an early age. Fact check confirmed their story.

To buttress that point, it takes about 10 years to start and grey completely. That means that most presidents in the USA have already started growing gray or white hair before they became president or immediately they entered office. And when they are out in about 8 years time, the hair has changed completely.
Let's Reason
Why this may sound logical, it was a little bit of surprise that it happened to even young presidents when their age mates still rock their back hair. So it may be that they used to dye their hair but don't have that time when in office. As the years go by, this topic is becoming more interesting that some people may take up interest into research on it. By then, keep looking at the hair of your president. It may never remain the same before leaving office.
