Menstrual cups

Menstrual cups is the latest sanitary wear for women. Shape like a bell with a stem, it is design to be inserted in the vagina. However, it does not absorb blood like pads and tampons but collect it before it gets out. The collected blood is then discarded when full. The bell shape seals against the wall of the vagina and does not need to get to the cervix.
There are specific instructions from manufacturers on how to insert and remove it. Since they are made of plastic or rubber, it is easy to insert it. Lobe is also needed but the blood can provide that. Silicon love should be avoided because it can damage the material as many of them contain silicon. Water based love is better. It is advisable to remove if any leak is notice meaning it is full or after 12 hours. Some are reusable and can last up to 5 years or more.
There is a general question that disturb Africa women on the use of tampons. This question obviously will also affect menstrual Cup use.
