Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide B.P. 10 mg

Guaiphenesin B.P. 50 mg.

Flavored Syrup Base q.s.

Adult Greenlin for Dry Coughs with Congestion is used for the symptomatic relief of dry, painful, tickly coughs and catarrh.

Before Using Adult Greenlin For Dry Coughs With Congestion

The following information should be read before using this medicine.

1. Do not take this product if you are sensitive to Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide and Guaifenesin - ask your medical doctor.

2. Do not use this product if you are suffering from Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, tumor of the Adrenal Gland, Thyroid, Disorder Hyperexcitability (agitation), Asthma or eye disorder e.g., Glaucoma.

3. Use the product with caution if you are suffering from liver disease or prostate problems (since use of this product may increase your difficulty urinating). If in doubt, consult your medical doctor.

4. This product is known to interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and tricyclic antidepressants to treat depression and guanethidine, reserpine and methyldopa to treat high blood pressure. If you are taking any such treatment, consult your medical doctor before using this product. Use with caution in patients with diabetes.

6. If you are taking Digitalis to treat Heart Failure, consult your medical doctor before using this product.

7. Do not use the product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

8. This product contains glycerol which can be harmful in high doses. It can cause headaches, stomach upsets and diarrhea.

9. Make sure this product is suitable for you to use and ask your medical doctor or pharmacist.

10. This product contains Sodium Methyl hydroxybenzoate and Sodium Propyl Hydroxybenzoate. They may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

11. This product contains Sorbitol. If you have been told by your medical doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your medical doctor before taking this product.

Dosage Of Adult Greenlin For Dry Cough

Directions for using Adult Greenlin for Dry Coughs with Congestion for adults, the elderly and children over 12 years.

One or two 5 ml spoonful to be taken four times 4 day.

Do not use this product on children under 12 years of age.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Undesirable Effects Of Adult Greenlin For Dry Cough

The following undesirable effect has been reported following use of this product.

1. Nausea, dizziness, headache, giddiness, vomiting, sweating.

2. Thirst, palpitations, muscular weakness, tremors, anxiety. restlessness, insomnia.

3. Difficulty in urinating.
