Composition Of Calcimax Syrup

Each 5 ml contains:

Calcium carbonate B.P equivalent to elemental calcium 150 mg

Magnesium hydroxide B.P equivalent to elemental magnesium 25 mg

Zinc sulfate B.P equivalent two elemental zinc 1.5 mg

Vitamin D3 B.P 200 IU

Interaction may take place with the following drugs:

Alendronate, ciprofloxacin, doxycycline, ofloxacin, oral contraceptives, tetracycline, thiazide diuretic, veoaramil.

Depletion or interference will take place when the following medications are used:

Albuterol, aluminium hydroxide, bile acid sequential, cycloserine, indomethacin, isionazide, losartan, mineral oil, neomycin, sulfamethoxazole, thyroid hormone, tobramycin, triamterene, trimethoprim, verapamil. Excess calcium can impair the absorption of the mineral iron and zinc.

Warning And Precautions

Some people may experience diarrhea. Individuals with kidney or thyroid disorders should consult a health care professional before use. Take the supplement two hours after bisphosphonates. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions.

Adverse Effects And Sides Effect Of Calcimax Syrup

Excess calcium can contribute to the development of kidney stones and may cause calcium deposits in the body.
