The payment by federal government is monthly. For most states that pay, they also follow that pattern. However, there are some fee that pay quarterly, or yearly depending on them. Payment from State and local government is only to those who work on government owned establishment.
The allowance of all serving ccorps members from the federal government is the same. Some states give preference to some members depending on some factors. For example, some states pay allowance to only Corp members posted to the vilages it higher than the others. Also, many pay higher allowance to pharmacy, medical Corps members and others in the medical field.

Lagos
₦15,000 monthly and sometimes ₦10,000 monthly to corp members in ministries, ₦5000 monthly to those in LGAs and ₦20,000 monthly to medical youth corp members. This state pays allowance to the first 100 lucky corpers to be registered; i.e ₦15,000 monthly to some lucky ones serving in public schools and ₦10,000 monthly to some lucky ones serving in the secretariat. To be eligible to be among the 100 lucky corpers, immediately you’re given your ppa letter, rush to Alausa Secretariat, at the ministry of special duties to have your number, cause it’s slot and it’s strictly on first to come, first to serve basis

₦5,000 monthly, information gathered shows that the last time they received such allowance was in February 2019. But, the 2018 Batch C Stream 1 and 2 has not received any dime from the state government
Oyo
₦4000 monthly
Sokoto
₦4,000 monthly to those in state government parastatals and ₦9,000 monthly to those in state hospitals which is accumulated till the end of the service year
Taraba
₦6,000 monthly, they select some few NYSC corps members serving in public establishments in their state and pay them. They started paying from December 2018
Yobe
₦5,000 monthly for regular corp members while medical corp members earn 100k plus.
Zamfara
₦5,000 monthly
Kogi, Plateau, Rivers, Benue, Gombe, FCT (Abuja)a Edo do not pay corps members deployed to their states as of today.

ReplyDeleteThe federal government is in charge of Abuja. They pay federal allawee to all including Abuja cm. Don't expect another one. Except you got posted to a private firm or a federal firm with good HOD who decides to add to your pay. However, most firms provide accommodation
