Composition Of Vamirex Syrup
Each 5 ml contains:
Paracetamol BP 125mg
Promethazine HCI BP 3mg
Pharmacological Action
Vamirex syrup has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine activity. It is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and peak plasma concentrations occur for about 1-2 hours. It is rapidly metabolized and excreted in the urine mainly as metabolites and conjugates.
Indication Of Vamirex Syrup
Vamirex syrup is indicated for the symptomatic relief of allergic conditions. It is also used to relieve mild to moderate body pain and fever.
Dosage Of Vamirex Syrup
Children: 3-6 years - 5ml - 10ml - twice a day.
7-12 years - 10ml - 20ml - twice a day.
If symptoms persist for more than three days of treatment, consult the physician.

Side Effects Of Vamirex Syrup
Vamirex syrup is well tolerated, the common side effects are usually gastrointestinal disturbance including nausea, dizziness, dryness of nose and throat.
Contraindication
Vamirex syrup should be given with caution to patients that are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients and patients with a history of renal impairment.
