Most people who lose loved one's dream of seeing them again in this life. They wait for a day, a week and a year with the hope of seeing them again. It has happened to many people before. They died and came back to life. It is called Lazarus syndrome.

In short, it’s returning to life after it appears that you’ve died. So, can a dead person come back to life after a year?

Dead Come Back To Life After A Year

A clinically dead person is a person whose blood circulation and heart stop beating and fail to restart despite CPR. Depending on the tradition or religion of the people involved, the dead are either buried or cremated.

The cremation renders the body to ashes. There is no physical possibility to bring such people to life again immediately not to talk of after a year. What about a buried body?

There are different types of burial. A dead person can be buried six feet underground immediately after death. The body begins to decay after a few days. After a year, all the flesh had decayed. It is practically impossible for such a body to come back to life after the burial, not to mention a year later.

The dead body can also be embalmed for some time, even more than a year. The embalming involved injecting poisonous chemicals into the arteries and displacing the oxygen carrying blood from the body. Thus, it is not possible to come back to life after embalming before or after a year.

There is a group of people who believe that freezing a dead body will prevent it from decaying and can come back to life. It is called cryonics.

Cryonics is the low-temperature freezing (usually at −196 °C or −320.8 °F or 77.1 K) and storage of human remains, with the speculative hope that resurrection may be possible in the future. They believe they will benefit from scientific breakthroughs when aging can be reversed.

There is nobody that has ever come back to life after a cryonics procedure. All those who are there are currently dead and have no hope of coming back even after so many years.
