Activated methylpolysiloxane provides rapid relief from excess stomach gas by breaking gas bubbles in the stomach and causing them to coalesce so that they can be eliminated easily by belching.
Magnesium Hydride and Aluminum Hydroxide are antacids which neutralize hydrochloric acid in the stomach secretions thus preventing the acid from damaging the stomach lining. Aluminum Hydroxide also enhances the protection of the stomach lining from the irritant effect of gastric acid.
Aluminum hydroxide is slow-acting and tends to produce constipation while Magnesium Hydroxide has the reverse effect. A combination of the two antacids brings about a faster and sustained antacid effect with reduced adverse gastrointestinal effects.
The actives in Rulox Suspension are micronized and presented as a uniform suspension to enhance their efficacy.
