Composition Of Gecrol Suspension

Each 5ml contains:

Magnesium Trisilicate B.P...............250mg

Light Magnesium Carbonate B.P.. 250mg

Sodium Bicarbonate B.P..............250mg

Indication And Use Of Gecrol

An antacid and adsorbent preparation for the relief of indigestion, heartburn, gas and hyperacidity.

Dosage Of Gecrol Suspension

One to two 10ml (teaspoonful) three times daily in between meals or as directed by the physician.

Side Effects Of Gecrol Suspension

Gecrol is usually well tolerated by the majority of people and side-effects rarely occur. However, excessive use may lead to hypomagnesaemia which is common when used with other magnesium salts.

Is Gecrol Suspension Safe In Pregnancy?

Sodium Bicarbonate is contraindicated in pregnancy. That makes gecrol not safe in pregnancy.
