Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin C, an essential nutrient found mainly in fruits and vegetables. The body requires ascorbic acid in order to form and maintain bones, blood vessels, and skin. Ascorbic acid also promotes the healing of cuts, abrasion and wounds; helps fight infections, inhibits conversion of irritant in smog, tobacco smoke, and certain foods into cancer-causing substances, appears to lessen the risk of developing high blood pressure and heart disease, helps regulate cholesterol levels, prevents the development of scurvy, appears to lower the risk of developing cataracts; and aids in iron absorption. Ascorbic acid can cause adverse reactions when taken with some drugs.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D3 deficiency is common in older adults and has been implicated in psychiatric and neurologic disorders. As it becomes clear that Vitamin D3 plays a wide role in overall health, it's becoming equally clear that a large percentage of individuals are deficient in this important nutrient which has hormone-like activity. The fear of skin cancer has stopped many individuals from obtaining beneficial amounts of sunlight. The skin uses the energy of UVB to convert 7-dehydrocholesterol into Vitamin D3. Even individuals, who venture out into the sun often and use suntan lotion, may be deficient in Vitamin D3. Furthermore, as we age, we are less equipped to produce sufficient quantities of this vital nutrient. One study found that age-related declines in kidney function may require older people to ingest more Vitamin D3 to maintain the same blood levels as younger people.
10 Reason You Need Vitamin D
1. Protects lung function
2. It blunts your appetite
3. Can help you shed weight
4. Improves muscle function
5. Lowers blood pressure
6. Shuts down cancer cells
7. Lowers risk of mortality
8. Reduces Alzheimer's risk
9. Affects hundreds of genes in disease preventing potential
10. Reduces risk of Osteoporosis
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is potent heart protection in natural source. Vitamin E provides essential antioxidant protection for the cardiovascular system, skin and other vital organs. Vitamin E is a major antioxidant and the primary defense against lipid peroxidation. It is particularly important in protecting the body's cells from free radical/oxidative damage. These protective benefits are achievable with supplemental intakes higher than what is normally consumed in the average diet. Others are movement disorders called tardive dyskinesia and dyspraxia, reducing the chance of dying from bladder cancer. Vitamin E might slow down the worsening of memory loss in people with moderately severe Alzheimer's disease. But vitamin E does not seem to prevent progression from mild memory problems to full-blown Alzheimer's disease. Taking vitamin E pills with regular treatment seems to help reduce pain. Treating an eye disease called AMD (age-related macular degeneration) when used with other medicines.
Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin B1 helps the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B complex vitamins, also help the body metabolize fats and protein. B complex vitamins are needed for healthy skin, hair, eyes, and liver. They also help the nervous system function properly, and are needed for good brain function.
Vitamin B2 increasing energy levels; boosting immune system function; maintaining healthy hair, skin, mucous membranes, and nails; slowing aging; boosting athletic performance; promoting healthy reproductive function; canker sores; memory loss, including Alzheimer's disease; ulcers; burns; alcoholism; liver disease; sickle cell anemia.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) are naturally occurring substances necessary for many processes in the body. Pyridoxine is important in the breakdown of protein, fats, and antibodies in support of carbohydrates from foods into products needed by the body.

Vitamin B6 is important for maintaining healthy brain function, the formation of red blood cells, the conversion of protein and synthesis of antibodies in support of the immune system.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin with a key role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and for the formation of blood. It is one of the eight B vitamins. It is normally involved in the metabolism of every cell of the human body, especially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation.
Calcium
Calcium is a mineral that is an essential part of bones and teeth. The heart, nerves, and blood-clotting systems also need calcium to work. Calcium is used for treatment and prevention of low calcium levels and resulting bone conditions including osteoporosis softening of bones involving pain). Calcium is also used for premenstrual syndrome (PMS), leg cramps in pregnancy, high blood pressure in pregnancy (pre-eclampsia), and reducing the risk of colon and rectal cancers.
Calcium Pantothenate
Calcium pantothenate created more furor and fever than any other vitamin which has been isolated. It was declared a gray hair restorative. The real use of calcium pantothenate is a catalytic agent. Like B6, calcium pantothenate aids the muscles to absorb protein and retain their elasticity. It also aids the liver in its use of choline so that fatty liver does not develop. The lack of calcium pantothenate has been reported as a cause for animal gastritis and other digestive disorders.
Choline Bitartrate
Choline bitartrate Choline is an essential nutrient that plays a vital role in maintaining the structural integrity of cell membranes. Choline is a precursor to acetylcholine which is an important neurotransmitter involved in memory, muscle control and other essential functions of the body.
Biotin
Biotin is a vitamin that is found in small amounts in numerous foods. It is used for preventing and treating biotin deficiency associated with pregnancy, long-term tube feeding, malnutrition, and rapid weight loss. It is also used orally for hair loss, brittle nails, skin rash in infants (seborrheic dermatitis), diabetes, and mild depression. Biotin is an important component of enzymes in the body that break down certain substances like fats, carbohydrates, and others. Biotin plays a major role in ther blood glucose production. Since biotin is heavily involved in the breakdown of carbohydrates within the body, it is largely responsible for keeping the blood sugar at healthy levels. Biotin may have an important role in the growth and maintenance of your hair and nails.
Magnesium
Magnesium is a naturally occurring mineral that is important for many systems in the body especially the muscles and nerves. Magnesium sulfate also increases water in the intestines. Magnesium sulfate is used as a laxative to relieve occasional constipation.
Zinc
Zinc sulphate is important in the many biological functions of the human body. It is also seen as an important mineral to increase immune resistance and also aid in wound healing. Zinc sulfate is also essential in better digestion and may also be beneficial in diabetes control. It is also used for boosting the immune system, treating the common cold and recurrent ear infections, and preventing lower respiratory respiratory infections. It is also used for malaria and other diseases caused by parasites.

Phosphorus
Phosphorus is a mineral that makes up 1% of a person's total body weight. It is present in every cell of the body. Most of the phosphorus in the body is found in the bones and teeth. The main function of phosphorus is in the formation of bones and teeth. It plays an important role in how the body uses carbohydrates and fats. It is also needed for the body to makeprotein for the growth, maintenance, and repair of cells and tissues. Phosphorus also helps the body make ATP, a molecule the body uses to store energy. Phosphorus works with the B vitamins. It also helps kidney function, muscle contractions, normal heartbeat and nerve signaling.
Iron Ferrous Sulfate
Iron ferrous sulfate provides the iron needed by the body to produce red blood cells. It is used to treat or prevent iron-deficiency anemia, a condition that occurs when the body has too few red blood cells because of pregnancy, poor diet, excess bleeding, or other medical problems.
Potassium
Potassium is used for treating and preventing low potassium levels. It is also used to treat high blood pressure and prevent stroke. Some people use it to treat high levels of calcium, a type of dizziness called menière's disease, thallium poisoning, insulin resistance, symptoms of menopause, and infant colic. It is also used for allergies, headaches, acne, alcoholism, alzheimer's disease, confusion, arthritis, blurred vision, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, an intestinal disorder called colitis, constipation, dermatitis, bloating, fever, gout, insomnia, irritability, mononucleosis, muscle weakness, muscular dystrophy, stress, and with medications as treatment for myasthenia gravis. Healthcare providers give potassium intravenously (by IV) for treating and preventing low potassium levels, irregular heartbeats, and heart attack.
Molybdenum
Molybdenum is stored in the body, particularly in the liver, kidneys, glands, and bones. It is also found in the lungs, spleen, skin, and muscles. About 90% of the molybdenum eaten in foods is eliminated by the body through the urine.
Selenium
Selenium can help fight cancer by boosting the antioxidant activity of certain enzymes, improving your immune system, slowing the metabolism of carcinogens, inhibiting tumor cell growth and increasing cancer cell death. The use of selenium in treating diabetes has been controversial. Although there are no cures for HIV/AIDS infections, the disease can lead to malnutrition and a selenium deficiency. The antioxidant effects of selenium help protect cells and may help slow progression of the disease by increasing the enzymatic defense systems in HIV-infected patients.
Chromium
Chromium is used for improving blood sugar control in people with prediabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and high blood sugar due to taking steroids. It is also used for depression, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), lowering "bad"cholesterol, and raising "good" cholesterol in people taking heart medications called beta blockers. It is also used for body conditioning including weight loss, increasing muscle, and decreasing body fat. Chromium is also used to improve athletic performance and to increase energy.
Inositol
Inositol is used for diabetic nerve pain, panic disorder, high cholesterol, insomnia, cancer, depression, schizophrenia, alzheimer's disease, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, promoting hair growth, a skin disorder called psoriasis, and treating side effects of medical treatment with lithium. Inositol is also used by mouth for treating conditions associated with polycystic ovary syndrome, including failure to ovulate; high blood pressure; high triglycerides; and high levels of testosterone.
DL-Methionine
DL-Methionine is an amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks that our bodies use to make proteins. Methionine plays an important role in many cell functions. Methionine is used to prevent liver damage in acetaminophen (tylenol) poisoning. It is also used for increasing the acidity of urine, treating liver disorders, and improving wound healing. Other uses include treating depression, alcoholism, allergies, asthma, copper poisoning, radiation side effects, schizophrenia, drug withdrawal, and parkinson's disease. Assists in the breakdown of fats.
