Fijk is a polyherbal formulation made from various ethnomedicinal plants. It is marketed in Nigeria by Okooloyun Worldwide Nigeria Limited. According to the fijk leaflet, the herbal is prepared from a mixture of 13 medicinal plants including cassia alata, citrus medica var acida, aloe vera, cassia angustifolia, cassia siamea, khaya senegalensis, xylopia aethiopica, gongronema latifolium, khaya grandifoliola, morinda lucida, anthocleista djalonensis, citrullus lanatus, and aloe barbaris.

According to the fijk label, the herbal remedy is indicated for treatments of several ailments which include obesity, diabetes, sexual improvement, menstruation pains, infertility, high blood pressure, crawling sensation, and malaria, amongst others.

General Dose

Adult: four tablespoonful (5ml) twice daily after meal, morning and night

Children: one tablespoonful (5ml) once daily after meal or as directed by your physician

For Obesity

For tummy problems, acute stomach ache, pot belly, cholesterol, excess weight etc, take 4 tablespoonful of undiluted fijk, twice (morning and night) for one week

For Pile

Hemorrhoid, tummy problem e.t.c, take one spoonful of fijk with glass of warm water, twice (morning and night) for one week

For Infections

Dilute 4 tablespoons of lime, with two spoonfuls of fijk and twice (morning and night) daily for one (1) month. It is an effective cure for all sexually transmitted infections (STI) and diseases like staphylococcus, genital wax, gonorrhea, syphilis, mouth odour, sore in private parts, etc.

For Sexual Improvement

(Libido) In both men and women, it increases love making and enhances sexual ability and controls premature ejaculation. Take 2 spoonfuls of fijk, with liquid milk frequently, or drink with any alcoholic of your choice.

For Women

(A) Menstruation Period: Add 2.5ml teaspoonful of salt into 2 tablespoons of fijk, twice (morning and night) daily for two (2) weeks. It regulates irregular menstruation of menstrual dysfunction, menstrual odour, and also regulates sudden stopped menstruation

(B) For Infertility: Dilute fijk, 2 tablespoon with 2ml teaspoonful of honey and use for 10 days starting from the first day of menstruation every month.

Control of High Blood Pressure

Dilute with a glass cup of warm water with table spoons of fijk twice (morning and night) daily for three (3) months. Its antiinflammatory properties are used to control chronic hypertension, high blood pressure, inability to sleep and other symptoms like blocked veins and arteries. It also helps in blood purification, normalizing high blood pressure (HBP).

For Diabetes

Mix 1 tablespoonful of fijk, with coconut water in half glass cup of warm water for six (6) months. It's a remedy formulated with all components that regulates and controls blood sugar level and management of types I & Il diabetes.

Dilute with a glass cup of drinking water to two tablespoons of fijk, as the malaria will disappear, and the body will get relief.

For Blood Purification And Arthritis

Take 2 tablespoons of fijk, twice (morning and night) daily for one (1) month in a glass cup of warm water to take care of body rashes.

For Constipation And Indigestion

Take 4 tablespoons twice daily with a glass of warm water.
