GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a bold-flavored, single-origin oil that is cold-pressed in Andalusia, Spain, and is never blended with olive oils from other countries or with other types of oils. It is marketed in Nigeria by Ekuko Int'l Ltd, Lagos, Nigeria. It contains 0g trans fat and sodium. It is kosher and gluten free. It comes in three containers. They are;

1. Glass bottle sizes: 3 fl.oz.(88.7 ml), 8.5 fl.oz.(200 ml), 17 fl.oz.(3 litre) and 25.4 fl.oz.(5 litre)

2. Plastic bottle sizes: 34 fl.oz. and 50.7 fl.oz.

3. Tin can sizes: 24 fl.oz. and 102 fl.oz.

Goya oil only come in bottles for three sizes and one for tin in Nigeria.

The smell and taste is green, bright, peppery, earthy, grassy, or any combination thereof. It is distinguished by its golden green color. If it tastes good, it's probably good.

The package must contain the phrase extra virgin olive oil. You must find the date of harvesting the fruits on the package. Maximum acidity ratio 0.4 % or less and is clearly stated on the package.

The bottle is crested with the word Goya at the top along with the quality seal and best before date. The cork also comes with the label. And the best before is usually written on the bottle neck.
