The eye is the organ of sight. Some say it is the most important organ of the body. The word "eye" comes from the Teutonic "auge." The eye has a number of components. These components include but are not limited to the cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, macula, optic nerve, choroid and vitreous. Eye Anatomy The anatomy of the eye is complex.
