Cal D3 tablet Cal D3 is a supplement containing 500 mg calcium and 250 iu vitamin D3. Calcium carbonate is commonly used medicinally as a calcium supplement or as an antacid but excessive consumption can be hazardous. Vitamin D is a group of fat soluble circle steroids responsible for enhancing intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate. In humans the most important compounds in this group are vitamin D3 (also known as cholecalciferol) and vitamin D3 (ergocalciferol).
