If each corp member is entitled to three square meal a day for 21 days, that will amount to a total of 63 meals. From personal and other's people's experience, total meal is 59. No meal is provided a day before camp. The day camp is to resume, the first meal is dinner. Your last meal is breakfast on the passing out of camp day. Lunch and dinner is skip even for those who may stay behind due to the fact that they were redeployed to another state and could not travel on that day due to distance to their new state.

Camp Food Programme

Rumor has it that the same food serve at one camp is serve at other camp. If that is true, the same food serve in this post will be the same food serve at your orientation camp as far as 2019 is concern.

Meal Ticket And State Tag

Your state code is given to you at the online registration center. You are expected to buy an identity card holder with a rope to be hung around your neck. At the point of registration with your platoon inspector, you will be provided a meal ticket. You are to write your state code on it, your call up number and affix your passport size photograph. To get your meal, you must be fully dressed in any of the official camp wears, your state code tag on you and your meal ticket. Breakfast

Morning food is usually light. Me that is use to heavy food in the morning to survive the day stress. I have to adapt to the food. Only one type of food is serve per time. They have three menu for breakfast. The first is hot tea, dry milk, sugar, bread and butter or boiled egg. The other one is pap and akara and the last is beans and pap. The tea is a cup and not too bad. The bread is the N80 naira worth and butter is the small sachet of about N50. The boiled egg is one. The pap is much o but the akara is only two of good size. The beans is normal level. Breakfast is between 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

The type of food serve in the afternoon and evening is rotated. They serve eba or akpu and soup (ogbono or egusi), stew rice (fried fish or meat), jollof rice (fried fish or meat) and yam porage. If eba and egusi soup is serve for lunch, either of the two rice will be serve for dinner. The next day, lunch will be the other rice that was not serve the previous day. Let's say stew rice was serve for dinner today, jollof rice will be serve the next day for lunch. Then, dinner will be eba and ogbono soup. Then, in-between this rotation, they will add yam porage. Lunch is serve between 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM while dinner is between the hours of 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Sundays

All three Sundays were special in terms of the choice of food. Breakfast is always of the aforementioned menu. However, the lunch and dinner is either jollof or stew rice and eba and any of the soup. They never serve yam porage on Sunday.
If you talk of quality, me I am out. If you talk of quantity, it is not as much as when you are in your father's house but fair enough. Trruth nobody knows the quantity camp official are given but trust me, it is same quality.
