Usman Dan fodiyo Pharmacy The Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (formerly University of Sokoto) is one of the four Universities established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in September 1975. Three of these four were, at the time, University Colleges whose status were upgraded to full-fledged Universities. So, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto was the only one of the four to have started with the status of a full-fledged University from the scratch.
