Ruzu herbal bitters (RHB) is a poly-herbal preparation that is widely taken in Nigeria. RHB is an aqueous preparation of Curculigo pilosa root (40%), Uvaria chamae stem (30%) and Citrullus colocynthis bark (40%). RHB is claimed for the management/treatment of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, infection and infertility among others including fibroid. Some are using it to abort pregnancy.

The manufacturer of the product never in any way indicates its use in the termination of pregnancy. This use was only publicized by some zealous people who believe it can work.
