Ferobin syrup is a blood tonic made by fidson healthcare Plc. It is rich in iron and other vital vitamins and minerals for building red blood cells. It contains the second most absorbable form of iron salt, ferric ammonium Citrate.

Ferobin Blood Tonic contains Ferric Ammonium Citrate, Folic Acid, Magnesium Gluconate, Nicotinamide, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and Zinc Gluconate as active ingredients.

Ferobin Blood Tonic is composed of the following active Ingredients (salts):

Ferric Ammonium Citrate - 80Mg

Folic Acid - 2.5Mg

Vitamin B1-2Mg

Vitamin B2 - 1 Mg

Vitamin B6-2Mg

Nicotinamide - 5Mg

Zinc Gluconate - 1 Mg

Magnesium Gluconate - 1.5Mg

Indication And Use Of Ferobin Syrup

Ferobin is a complete everyday blood builder. It is used to treat and prevent anemia (low red blood cells) in pregnancy. It is used to fasten recovery from ill health, poor nutritional status and other conditions where there is need for quick restoration of hemoglobin (blood) levels. It is also used to helps healthy growth of the growing baby’s brain and spinal cord while in the womb.

How to Use

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor. The dosage and length of treatment is based on your medical condition, and response to treatment. 

Continue to take this medication until the full the prescribed amount is finished. Do not change your dose, skip any doses, or stop this medication early without your doctor's approval.

Side Effect Of Ferobin Syrup

Abdominal discomfort, nausea, heartburn and constipation or diarrhea. Tell your pharmacist or medical doctor immediately if any of these effect persist or worsen. 

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects.

Dosage Of Ferobin Syrup

Ferobin should be taken as your doctor or pharmacist prescribes, your response to treatment and medical condition. 

Do not take this medication more often or increase your dose without consulting your doctor. Your condition will not improve any faster and the risk of serious side effects may increase. 

This medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it later for another health condition unless your doctor directs you to do so. A different medication may be necessary in that case.

Adults (As a nutritional supplement): 1 tablespoonful (10ml) daily.

During illness, blood loss, general weakness and pregnancy: 1 or 2 tablespoonful 1-3 times daily

Children (7-12 years): 2 teaspoonful (10ml) two times daily

Children (under 7 years): 1 teaspoonful (5ml) two times daily

Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.
