Dequalini is a lozenge after the end of deguadin. It is use to treat sore throat and other mild upper respiratory tract infections. It is made by Tuyil pharm Ind limited, Nigeria.

Each Lozenge contains: Dequalinium Chloride BP.............0.25mg
Properties
Dequalini has an antiseptic effect against a wide range of bacteria such as gram positive and gram negative bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It kills the micro-organisms associated with various mild infections of the mouth and throat. It lubricates and soothes the painful area which helps relieve the soreness and discomfort of mouth and throat infections.

Indications Of Dequalini
Dequalini is indicated for the treatment of mouth and throat infections. It may also be used for the prevention of infection after tooth extraction.
Contra-indication
It is contra-indicated in patients that are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of this product.
Adverse Reaction
The adverse reaction is rare at recommended dose but patients that are hypersensitive to the active ingredient may experience necrosis, ulceration of the tongue at high dose.
Dosage Of Dequalini
Adults and Children over 10 years: 1 lozenge should be sucked slowly 2-3 hours daily.

Do not take more than 8 lozenges in 24 hours.
Side Effect Of Dequalini
The side effect is well tolerated and relatively safe at recommended dose.
