Flu-J Tablet Composition, Dose, Use, Side Effect

Flu-J is a combination therapy targeting cold symptoms. It can also be used for allergies. It is a product manufactured in Enugu State, Nigeria by Juhel Nigeria Limited.

Composition Of Flu-J Tablet

Each tablet contains:

Paracetamol......500 mg

Chlorpheniramine Maleate............2mg

Ascorbic Acid...5mg

Indications Of Flu-J Tablet

For symptomatic relief of fever, headache and nasal congestion associated with influenza and common cold including allergic rhinitis. Also used for urticaria and emergency treatment of anaphylactic reactions.

Dosage And Administration Of Flu-J Tablet

Adults: 2 tablets 2-3 times daily. Maximal, 6 tablets daily or as directed by the Physician.

Children: 6-12 years: 1 tablet 3 times daily

Warnings And Cautions

- If a patient remains in a fever for 3days or the symptoms do not improve, consult the physician.

- Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

- Not recommended for children under 2 years, in pregnancy and lactation, except under physician's instruction.

- While taking this drug, avoid driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery

- Discontinue if insomnia, Palpitation or headache is noticed.
