Difference Between Cerumol And Waxsol
The major difference is in their constituents. Cerumol drops contain Propylene Glycol Dicaprylocaprate, Butoxyl, Turpentine Oil 10% and Chlorocresol. On the other hand, Waxsol contains docusate sodium.
Cerumol is an oil base earwax removal unlike Waxsol that is a water miscible base.
Their last difference is their manufacturer. Cerumol is made by Thornton and Ross Ltd., UK but Waxsol is a Viatris company trademark.
Similarity Between Cerumol And Waxsol
They are both earwax removal. However, there is no evidence of a difference in efficacy between oil‐based and water‐based active treatments.
